The Next 5 Years

Hi Friends,

I hope you all are doing good.

To better understand the topic of the blog, let’s start with an example.

You might have heard or experienced,

Companies often ask during the interviews “Where do you see yourself in 5 years?”

Why do you think the company is interested to know about your next 5 years? While there are good number of chances you might leave the company after 2 years.

Think about it for a minute before going ahead.

I will tell you the reason behind it. The thing company wants to know is how far and better you can think about yourself in next 5 years. That actually gives them an idea about your vision and direction of thinking.

What will you work towards if you do not have a goal ? and How will you decide your goal if you do not have vision of what should happen next ?

Vision is an important thing. Vision helps innovations make their way in the world. If we cannot think beyond the things we see, we will probably end up losing ourselves in the crowd.

Having a long-term vision will help us to face difficulties that come our way while working towards our goal and will also keep us motivated in testing times when we feel like giving up.

Multinationals run in huge profits not just because of their products or services, but because of their vision. Vision helps them to continuously survive and grow in the competitive market.

To make my point precise, if we want to became successful in life we have to have a vision of where we will reach in the next 5 years.

So, I am concluding my blog by asking you a question,

What plans do you have for the next 5 years? Or Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

It’s an important question, be mindful before answering it to yourself.
