Hi Friends,
I hope you all are doing good. I am back with another topic and yes the last one for the year 2017. The topic is “Gratitude List & New Year Resolutions”. I know the topic conveys the meaning well but still i would like to go deep into it to talk my idea about it.
We all are at the year end and i am sure their might be too many people out who are ready to make New Year Resolutions for the year 2018 just like the previous years. The reason i wrote this topic is, I want you to make a “Gratitude List for the year 2017” first and then make “New Year Resolutions for 2018”.
The reason is very simple. Every year most of us prepare new year resolutions thinking what we need to change in our life to be more disciplined, healthy, happy and successful. Yes that’s of course a good idea, but the thing that we ignore in it is, how amazing our last year was and how much thankful we should be about it.
So let’s do something different this year. Let’s make a “Gratitude List” along with our “New Year Resolutions”.
Friends, let’s try doing this,
List down all the “Happy Moments”, “Surprising Moments” and the most “Amazing Memories” of the year 2017. List down the “Targets Achieved” in personal and professional life in the year 2017. List down the “New Trustworthy Friends” made in the year 2017. List down the “Events” that added value to your life in the year 2017. List down the “New Places” you visited in the year 2017. List down “New Experiences” you had in the year 2017. List down the “Dreams” that came true in the year 2017. Basically List down every “Little or Big thing” that happened to you in the year 2017 that added value to your life.
Once you complete the list, believe me friends you will be amazed to see the progress you made in the year 2017. I am sure you will be a different person after reading it all. Once you are done with your “Gratitude List” start writing your “New Year Resolutions”. I am sure that this time your “New Year Resolutions” will be fun to make because after knowing what you have achieved already, you will feel more confident to change the things you want to for the year 2018.
That’s all i have to say on this topic “Gratitude List & New Year Resolutions”.
I would like to end the topic by one suggestion, that is, try writing a “Gratitude List” first and then “New Year Resolutions for 2018”. I already started it and loved the idea. I am sure you will also love this idea if you really put efforts into it.
Ok Friends, Enjoy the remaining days of the year 2017 and Wish you all a Very Happy, Healthy and Successful 2018 in advance.
Thank you for reading patiently,
Nirali Parikh.
Nice. well thought
